    I’m sorry, I meant things like version of PHP, MySQL—host, that sort of thing. You’re on different versions, too.

    Hi MAYO,

    Can you confirm that none of your weblogs work not just the one called ‘homepage’? On your test template replace the code with this:

    {exp:weblog:entries dynamic="off" orderby="date"}
    {title}
    {/exp:weblog:entries}

    Cheers

    Hi Greg,

    Just done that, and still no luck?

    Hey MAYO—

    Be on the lookout for an email from me requesting login details. If you’re ok with it, it sounds like it’s time to have a look at this from the inside.

    Hi Kevin

    I got your email, and submitted the details 😊 I have no problem with you looking into the server files. Everything is backed up.

    Hi MAYO,

    When I disable extensions via config.php, the weblog entries tag appears to be working normally. It looks like this is an issue with FieldFrame - can you confirm that also works for you?

    Yeah, sort of. But i still get a blank white page when i go to http://www.warden.co.uk/new/ even after disabling extensions?

    What could be causing FieldFrame to botch it up?

    You had extensions turned on in your config.php file - I edited it and removed that line.

    http://www.warden.co.uk/new/index.php/test/ now works.

    As to what is messing up with FieldFrame, that’s unknown at this time. Your home page still has issues, but you’ll need to simplify your template.

    Also, I created a new template group called ellislab, and tested there too.

    Getting an error of Your .htaccess directory does not exist. when adding a template called ellislab - so there’s something else going in here.

    Hi Brandon,

    I’ll keep you updated. I think its just a PHP Limit on the server. It’s set to 16mb, but normally i have it at least at 32 - 128mb, to have EE running smoothly. Just waiting on the server guys to get back to me.

    Hi, MAYO. Anything yet from the server admins? Just checking on your progress.

    Ok, they have increased the PHP memory limit to 128mb which should be plenty.

    But now when i goto http://www.warden.co.uk/new it just gives me a HTTP 500 error? Doesn’t display any template debugging, or php errors. Just a white blank page.

    MAYO—

    The issue lies with the embeds. I removed the embeds and the page loaded (not fully, of course, but there were no errors). I replaced the embed calls with the code from each embed and got a white page again. So the problem is not that you’re calling embeds, but what embeds contain. Basically, you have an extremely complex template here. Whatever you have in your embeds is causing the issue, and the way to find it is to run some troubleshooting there by slowly building your template back up until the problems rears its head.

    Let us know how you’re getting along.

    Kevin
