Not to be confused with Kgrote’s thread on suggested code editors (http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/180815/), I was wondering if anyone uses any specialized desktop apps for composing posts?
I’ve heard people swear by MS Live Writer for composing blog posts (http://explore.live.com/windows-live-write) and am aware of a few apps for Mac (http://mashable.com/2008/11/28/blogger-mac-apps/), though supposedly not as good. I’d love to find something to help smooth out my publishing workflow a bit. I really wish Leevi would port NSM Publish Plus was to EE2 (http://leevigraham.com/cms-customisation/expressionengine/nsm-publish-plus/) or that there was some other add-on or app available to help organize and publish entries, preferably something that also allowed for collaboration as well.
Anyone have any suggestions or similar needs?
Perhaps, we can inspire Leevi to update NSM Publish Plus?
