    I created a new field and got the same results. I’m not using the image button. I wrote the image tag by hand as well as copying and pasting.

    The brace shows up in the control panel preview after submitting the changes. It’s also in the page in the browser.

    It doesn’t show up in other channels, however.

    Hi, junglem..

    What I’d do if I were testing this is the following:

    [url=http://expressionengine.com/wiki/HowTo_Disable_Extensions_via_the_Control_Panel/Globally disable all extensions[/url].

    Create a new channel and reuse the same template group that is causing the problem.

    Is it the template group or the channel?

    Are you on the most recent EE 2.1.3 build?

    Yes, build 2.1.3.

    There are no extension running on the site and they have been disabled from the start.

    The brace is showing across template two groups, but not across channels.

    I tried writing

    <b>test</b>

    and there was no brace produced in the final HTML.

    It’s only when I insert the image code.

    I’m using simple quotes, not curly ones.

    Thanks for all of your ideas and help.
