Automatically turn email addresses into links not working in IE9

They are working in other browsers.  Using EE 1.7.0

Settings are set to YES in the weblog prefs

    Any advice?

    TIA

Hi, Eastwood Design. What about IE8? Are you able to test with that browser? I only have IE9 to test with, but I’ll be checking with EE 1.7.1.

Edited to add: I ended up having 1.7.0 on my Windows machine, and when I manually type in an email address it displays.

Can you either post a link to what you’re seeing on your end, or send me a MSG with the path to the site in question?

I think we figured it out.  The email was linked in the edit section mailto:

I think IE9 could not understand it.  Maybe EE was trying to link a linked email?

Either way I removed the link in edit and it is fixed.

Cool. In that case I’m not going to worry about it, since I couldn’t replicate it either. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions.
