Hey Lisa.  I am having another issue with MSM.  It is giving me the some errors when changing sites.  if I save an entry and click to change sites it gives me the “An Error Was Encountered. You are not authorized to post in this channel.”  If I go back to control panel home and switch it is fine.  Is there some setting I need to tweak so the site switch works everywhere?  Loosk like a member permission issues, but I am logged in as SuperAdmin.

So you’re saving an entry… are you in the primary or one of the secondary sites when you’re doing this? How long after saving the entry to when you try to change sites? If you wait a full minute, does it work then?

+1 for this post - I’m having the same problem when I’m logged in as a super admin to my MSM install.

Yes even if I wait a full minute the problem occurs.

This is not a bug, just currently the way site switching is implemented. There are some cases where this error will appear due to the current URL in the address bar when you switch sites.
