Is there any updates on Expression Engine adding Members to multiple groups?
Also, is there a way to achieve this in the current version of Expression Engine, 2.1.3.

Is there any updates on Expression Engine adding Members to multiple groups?

This isn’t a feature in EE 2; there aren’t updates at this time. It’s something that’s definitely on our radar, but is not a “near/immediate future” item.

Any updates on this. This feature is holding us from expanding our EE site.

There aren’t updated on this, it’s still something we’d like to see but it’s not in the immediate future.

Just thought I’d give this a little bump. It’s time to update a client’s website, and the limitation of one member group per user has always been a limitation. He’s choosing between EE and Drupal, where assigning multiple roles to a user—and then limiting content access based on role—is an easy thing to do. This is also a necessary thing to do on this client’s site.
So, any updates?
