Magpie & Global Variables Not Working?

I’m curious if there is something I’m missing to allow global variables (user defined and or the standard set) to work within the magpie tags?

For example, the {site_url} doesn’t appear to work within the magpie tags? I also have a user defined global variable that is not working.

(additionally I’d like to use the word_limit plugin, but this appears to not work as well)

Any insight to this would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi, thinkdocreate -

For the plugin, check out the parse= parameter.  That should help.

For the global variables - hrm.  I don’t think I’ve ever actually tried, to be honest. Can you show us some sample code that isn’t working for you, and perhaps a link to where you’re testing it?

    Thanks!

I knew there was something I was missing.

This fixed my problems, thank you so much.
