Has anyone ever used the Windows Live ID Authentication API successfully with ExpressionEngine? Specifically I’m looking to use it with the forums to either replace/skip the default registration or at least use it to populate their details so all they have to do is click a button to complete the registration.
The ultimate goal of this is actually to pull in their Xbox Live information, like their gamertag to start with. The Windows Live API It feels like a bit of a rabbit hole and I’m still trying to wrap my head around what’s technically possible.
