I have a login page on my site, that requires people to submit a username and password to proceed to another section of my website.

Currently to login people have to submit the username they registered with when then first registered on my site.

I was wondering what file do I need to look into to change the way people login.

I want to allow people to login with the email they registered with instead of their username.

I am using ExpressionEngine v 1.6.8.

Although more expensive and a by-feature really, Solpace’s User Module does this also
