I recently upgraded to v2.1.3 - When I use the Ratings module I get the following message “DataTables warning: JSON data from server could not be parsed. This is caused by a JSON formatting error.

I have also noticed with Javascript turned off, when tring to edit entries the URLs are pointing at incorrect system URLs.

    /ee_system/index.php?S=59ae59d4362ffa02bf39b443344cf22eb1271aaf&D=cp&C=content_publish&M=entry_form&channel_id=1&entry_id=0

Once Javascript kicks in, it corrects the channel_id and entry_id fields in the link.

Any thoughts to what might have happened?

    UPDATE:

I reverted back to v2.0 and followed the upgrade instructions again to v2.1.3. I am still encountering the same issue with the control panel EDIT screen. If you turn off Javascript, the entries come back with the incorrect URL as above. jQuery corrects this tho if Javascript is turned on.

This then has a knock on effect to the Ratings module which states: “DataTables warning: JSON data could not be parsed”.

If you uninstall Ratings by Dev Demon the problems persists (it is also there before installing Ratings).

    UPDATE 2:

This could be related to this bug report:

Hi, domw. That does indeed sound like the bug report. Hopefully the dev team will be able to confirm this as a bug soon. Thanks in advance for your patience.
