The tabbed footer area in my control panel has been looking like the attached screen shot for quite awhile now. Finally geting around to reporting this and seeing what is going on. The rest of the CP looks OK. Is there a separate style sheet for the footer? Also note the PHP errors showing in the CP analytics areas.

i would guess at one of two things…

    1. Missing or corrupt file - maybe JS or CSS. I would try re-uploading themes folders for the control panel, clearing cache and seeing if that helps. I would also check for any errors being reported by the browser - i.e. take a look with firebug in firefox.

    2. You have a lot of accessories going on there! So i suspect you have a lot of other addons in the control panel. One of these might be messing you around. Where it is safe to do so, try disabling them one at a time and see if that solves anything.

Thanks, I did upload the cp themes again and emptied the cache. Then I de-installed the add-ons and was able to add a few back and the footer now also looks normal again. Something was corrupt somewhere. I have only re-enabled three add-ons for now. Will see how it goes. There is still some other weirdness going on but I will post additional separate posts as needed. Thanks.

    Thanks for the assist, nevsie.

Brian, sounds like things are working again at least as far as this issue goes. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions.
