It looks like in the Template Preferences Manager I should be able to choose a group of files and change the preference for “Save Template as File” and be able to quickly create a bunch of my templates as files.  However when I try this nothing happens - should it?  Is there a quick way to save out a whole site as files?

    BTW (because I know you’ll ask) v2.1.3 Build:  20101220 😊

and yes in the Global Preferences I check yes to “Allow Templates to be Saved as Files”.

    Thanks!

    Hi Guy,

I believe that what you’re looking for is the Synchronize Templates button in the Template Manager.

That should hopefully get you what you need.

    Hope that helps a bit.

    Best wishes,

    Mark

    Thanks Mark!

I assumed I would change the preference and it would create/sync the files.  Followed your suggestion and I am set - thanks!

It works for me using the same version and build as you. I selected the template group, then selected the templates that I want to save as files, chose Yes for Save Template as Files, then clicked Update.

Do you have proper permissions set on the folder that you specified for templates to be saved to?

Got it thanks Jason - was a two step process to get what I expected. 1) change the preference then 2) synchronize the templates.

    Thanks!
