    hi theren
    explanation:
If within “Forgotten Password Instructions” (Email Notification Templates) you deselect “enable this template” the {reset_url} is wrong:

If a user has german as language, the following link gets sent:
    http://www.mysite.ch/?ACT=16=wMembYX8

    instead of:
    http://www.mysite.ch/?ACT=16&id=wMembYX8

this is a small, but really ennoying bug!
btw: the link is correct in french and english… I didn’t test other languages!

    cheers
    stefan

Hi Stefan. If you don’t remove index.php via .htaccess, does the same thing happen? Which language pack are you using with which version of EE?

    hi there,
sorry, I use the latest versions of EE 2.1.3 and the german language pack…
    can you reproduce the bug?
in fact: it’s quite easy to reproduce: first deselect the use this template checkbox, then switch language to german and go to member/forgot_password -> you’ll see…

    cheers
    stefan

p-s. I don’t suspect the htaccess to be the culprit since it’s working with english and french…

Hi, stefan. I tried this with a 2.1.3 vanilla Agile install, and the link mailed for forgot password was correct. I’m not using any .htaccess with this site.

Can you retry without an .htaccess?
