Do you want to continue troubleshooting before the move to EH? It does sound like a server issue with your current host, since things were working properly before the move to them.

Moved to enginehosting but can’t quite test yet as the eh domain is vacationmouse.ehclients.com, which is site1, I don’t think there is a subdomain for vacationgrape.ehclients.com, which is site2. Not sure if the client is ready to cut everything over to EH without resolving a few more issues related to php 5.3
