    Hi,

    I’ve been racking my brains for the best part of two brains now and I have to cave in! I’m finding it a struggle following the guide.

    I’ve managed to create and pubolish an entry. I’ve even managed to create my own channel, category, custom fields and publish them.

    However what I need is to know how to

    * Publish several articles and have pagination to access older articles
    * If I put in http://www.abc.com/image.jpg into a custom field (let’s say {photo}), I want to be able to display it on my article but as yet, have no idea how to
    * How do I set it up so that if I have several article, clicking on a link/photo within that article takes me to a page just for that article?

    I’m sure it’s really simple stuff but I’m stumped! Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks,

    JJ

    Ok - I got how to link to the article! God bless Google

    {headline}

    If anyone can help me with regards to pagination and using linking to external images, I’d be ever so grateful

    Thanks,

    JJ

    Have you looked at the docs relating to pagination?

    * If I put in http://www.abc.com/image.jpg into a custom field (let’s say {photo}), I want to be able to display it on my article but as yet, have no idea how to

    You need to place {photo} somewhere in your template, e.g.:

    {photo}

    or use an image sizing plugin to dynamically resize it for you. Where you place the image in your template is up to you.
