I’m currently in a library using their net access while out of town and the connection is pretty slow.

With that said I noticed that the EE homepage showcase slider shows all the images while loading versus just three. They pop in to place at the last second of the load process.

I think this could probably be remedied by adding overflow:hidden to the #showcase div.

Not sure if it matters or not based on your user base though, I thought I would throw it out there for whatever it’s worth.

    Firefox 3.6.15
    Opera 11.01
Chrome 10.0.648.151 (chrome isn’t so bad since it’s fast)
    (I stopped checking browsers)

I appreciate the feedback! You’re right, I can optimize this. I’ll do that now. Thank you!

Wow! Even when you are bothered about something completely irrelevant to your own site or client sites and or eecms they step up and fix things.

You Girls - Guys - People rock, thanks for going above and beyond.

I can tell you that I have these EXACT same obsessions in my own client work. 😊 I’ve made the overflow: hidden (which, really, should’ve been done before, no? my bad) so let me know if you still see the buggers loading wonky.

    Thank you!
