We’re working on an EE1 project that is going to require the same site to be duplicated many times into new subdirectories for each site. We decided that the Multiple Site Manager would be best, and just had a couple questions:

    1. When duplicating a site into a new subdirectory, do we need to modify the index.php file?
    2. Once we surpass the three site limit, will the system require us to purchase new licenses before duplication, or can we duplicate the new site and add the additional license later (when deploying to the public server)?

    Thanks!

Each site will have an index.php, so yes, each index.php needs to be setup properly.

You will need to purchase additional licenses before you’re able to add more sites.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
