I have had a site live for a while and I was getting loads of membership spam and when I went to turn register new members off I encountered errors. I track it down to I still had paths set from my testing server and I tried to change them in the control panel but I got an error.

So then I went to change the paths in the database and now my site has gone totally down although all the paths are right.

I only changed the paths in the exp_sites table and the paths were for things like captcha, and smileys so I didn’t think it would make a key difference ?

    The site is here: http://www.thelaneedinburgh.co.uk

Is there anything I can do to fix it?

After searching about I think the issue is to do with my exp_sites table having serialized data that I changed in the db direct.

Guess what I neeed to know is what I can do to try and restore this table of information?
