I’m having an issue with a site where entry times are being modified by EE when submitting.

    Example:
I create an entry and set the Entry Date to 2011-06-03 08:00 AM. After submitting, I edit this entry and it shows the Entry Date as 2011-06-03 09:00 AM. One hour later.

    Worthy of note:
Site localization and my member account are both… Server Time Zone = UTC -5 EST | Daylight Saving Time = No
    Using latest 2.1.3, Build:  20101220

I had a similar issue several months ago, but resolved by changing up the DST.

EDIT: Seems this is an all too common issue. Hacking the core fixes the issue. See this tidbit in a bug report for the solution: https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/15202/#10499

    Matt,

Thanks for following up. As you can see by the bug report it has been fixed for next release. So going to close this thread out for now as you found a workaround. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions.
