Just chimming in here to gauge reactions to the current bout of upgrades, primarily 2.1.3 & 2.1.4 Beta.
Having had some time of late to try and help others out by contributing to the forums, I have noticed an apparent mountain of issues with both versions. Having been around computers for some time I realise the reason for upgrading the base code but this current bout seems out of kilter for a host of stuff that was working.
Whilst I have no immediate plans to upgrade any of our sites (they’re all working 2.1.1), we have several projects in the wings and I’m a bit hesitant to start off with the latest versions.
Am I just spending too much time reading others issues or have any of you noticed a similar trend ?
PS. For the record I enjoy EE and not bashing the hard working folks, just an observation.
