I’m working on a new client site and we are using a number of third-party modules like Low Reorder.  The problem is that the client is complaining that titles like ‘Low Reorder’ are confusing and wants the module renamed to ‘Reorder Entries’ everywhere that the text ‘Low Reorder’ appears.

Is there a recommended/allowed way of doing this?

    Thanks much.

You should just use a custom tab for this. Log into your client’s account, navigate to Low Reorder, click the + Add button (it’s the pink, right-most button in the top nav). A new tab has been made (you should see it in your top nav) that links to Low Reorder and you are now shown the “Main Menu Manager” where you can rename the tab you just created to whatever you want.

You can also use Quick Links as an alternative, these show up in the sidebar.

Already renamed the custom tab, but clicking on that tab takes you to a page with the header ‘Low Reorder’.  I would need that to get renamed as well.

Sounds like a fussy client 😊

If you really must, you can alter the module’s lang file.

    Hi drezden79,

Has Rob’s advice helped you out with this?

Yep, changing the lang file worked perfectly.  Sorry for the delayed response.
