    Running EE v2.1.3 - Build:  20101220
    IIS6 Media Server

I have an upload directory setup called “Client Videos Directory” which we keep video files for the site in.
When I go to File Manager and try to delete files that were previously uploaded, by checking them and clicking “Delete Selected Files”, it appears to delete them and they disappear; then about 1 second later the page refreshes. and an error at the top shows: “There was a problem deleting one or more file(s). Please review the file list below”.

The permissions on the folder seem to be fine, as it allows me to upload files and the files are accessible in the site itself.

The folder in question happens to be above the web accessible root in the inetpub directory. However, I tested an images folder that is within the web root (wwwroot) and I have the same problem.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

This does sound like a permission (or ownership) problem. Is this a professionally hosted setup?
