Might be a stupid question - but some say the only stupid question is the one that goes unasked….

Ever since I moved to EE 1.7 and also moved servers….and upgraded the version of MySql, the EE search has not worked correctly. The quick search especially seems to not find the older entries…this all relates to forum posts (over many years).....

All entries are there. All tables have been repaired and optimized. Proper advanced search or google site search can find any entry.

    SO,

Is there a way to make certain all the indexes for the EE db are built and rebuilt? Would something like this make the problem I mentioned occur?

    Currently using 1.7, Mysql 5.0.77

I am not aware of a way to quickly reindex the database, as it were. Have you tried recounting?
