Hi - I’m trying to find out where to change my settings so I can post comments - I went into the channel preferences and made sure to allow comments and selected comment moderation. I am logged in as a super admin, and when I hit submit, I get the error “you are unauthorized to perform this action” - where do I enable this? Thanks.

Can you tell us which version/build of EE2.x you’re using? See EEWiki:// HowTo Determine My EE Version

Is this a local install or on a professionally hosted site?

    heaversm,

Have you allowed comments in the actual entry itself?
What does the URL to your comment page look like?
Can you share what you have in that template please?

If you’re working on a localhost with comments you will probably need to turn off :

Admin->Security and Privacy->Security and Sessions->Require IP Address and User Agent when receiving comments?

as usually a localhost install doesn’t supply this information and so can cause this error.

    Best wishes,

    Mark
