Unable to preview publish layout II

This question may be related to an (un)resolved thread.
So I made a fresh install of EE 2.1.3.
So far I have one channel, two membergroups, now third party addons whatsoever and I get the exact same behaviour (or lack thereof) as I described in this thread
Namely:
I am unable to preview publish layouts. When I check a layout and press the ‘preview’-button I am immeadatly thrown up to the top of the page but nothing slides out from the top. No messages, no errormessages - no nothing.

Any Idea?

I can tell you that publish preview are working fine in EE2.1.4 beta. The UI has slightly changed too. There is no release date for it yet but rest assured it is working.

I’ll give it a go.
Since this is a beta, are there many issues with addon conflicting etc?

No, I don’t think so. I’ve been running it for some time with practically zero issues. Let us know how it goes.
