    The quiz/question output is fully customizable by you with css, so you can accomplish the language direction with:

    div.eequiz div.question_text {
       direction: RTL;
       text-align: right;
    }

    Can you clarify as to where I would be able to use Arabic, could i create questions in Arabic and can the visitors reply in arabic, if they choose to ? I want both options to be available to the visitors, arabic and english.

    You can both create your questions in Arabic, and have your visitors answer in Arabic.

    As for having both languages available to your visitors, the best option might be to create two versions of the quiz… english version and arabic version. The reason is that for some question types (fill in the blank), your visitors’ answers are checked against the answer you type into the answer field. For example, if the question was: “What color is the sky?” and you typed “blue”, then an arabic response would be evaluated as incorrect. Having two separate quizzes (arabic and english) would allow you use each language as much as you’d like.

    Thanks for the help and the explanation.

    I think i will be able to properly test out the LMS when i install it on my site and test run it.

    We’ve just released update 1.2 which addresses an earlier question:

    Is it mandatory for visitors to register for an account in order to take the quizzes ? Can guests take quizzes without seeing any logging screen, just jumping straight to the quiz and at the end, they can enter their email for getting results from the teacher. ?

    It is no longer mandatory for visitors to members to take a quiz. We added an option to quizzes which allows the admin to specify whether to track answers based on membership (log-in required) or anonymously (no-log in required).

    This is an excellent feature, as i was looking for this feature in this module.

    Thanks for an excellent addition.

    Looks really great on the demos
    As a language teacher, I would like to use it for my language tests.

    My favorite features for now are:
    * Lots of question types and configuration parameters
    * Guests can take quizzes
    * compatibility with EE2 and EE1 (still have most of my projects on EE1)!

    Still have to digg in deeper for more…
    Hope that install works smoothely.

    Keep on the good work

    I’m looking into building a registration based website for e-learning content. I would have enrollees register and pay by using the Membrr module. After they went through the course content, they would need to take a quiz in order to qualify for continuing education credit.

    Would I be able to use the 4-ee quiz module to grade the quizzes, and keep track of the results, even though the user is not logged using the quiz module, but is logged in to the e-learning course.

    Also, am I correct that images, and/or Flash content, can be added to the questions?

    hello Susan

    You would recieve faster responces to your questions if you would contact 4-ee on twitter as the replies over there are much faster.

    Hello 4-ee

    Thanks for the addon. I really needed one.

    Can you tell me as to how it compares with LimeSurvey in terms of features ?

    LimeSurvey has many more features than 4-eeQuiz lists.  But LimeSurvey is a ‘survey’ tool; it will not grade questions, so you can’t use it for a quiz/test/exam.

    I’m not familiar with LimeSurvey but I’d be happy to answer any specific questions you have about a feature you’re looking for.

    4-eeQuiz has a great deal of built in functionality and is under continued development. We’ll be adding more features as requests come in.  Feel free to let us know how we can help or what we can improve.

    I am looking for a system similar to moodle, in a sense full fledge LMS.

    We need to setup an online university, but there is no addon which integrates moodle with EE 2.

    So I would be looking at your solution, though it looks a bit simpler in terms of features.

    I would love to talk to you privately via email regarding my requirements.

    Moodle is really the only OS LMS available.  It is very full featured.  4-eeQuiz is termed (incorrectly) in its marketing as a ‘LMS’; it is quiz/test/exam software.  Integrated with a well structure EE site, a LMS might be possible.
