    Hello,

    I’ve been trying to setup a page where the entries are grouped based on a custom field. Something like this;

    China
    conference
    conference
    Event

    Brazil
    Event
    Conference

    I can do this manually by either using if statements or by using search but is there a way for EE to this automatically? Read the custom field from the entries in the weblog and then group them? I know this can be done with categories, but I would to not have to use them.

    Thanks.

    marcxdid,

    have you had a look at relationships yet?

    Yes I looked into them, but I don’t think that will work because they’re all in 1 weblog, also for some countries there’s more than one event, for others there’s only one.

    marcxdid,

    then take a look at a third party offering such as Playa which allows for multiple relationships.

    Other than that the 2 option you mention above are good ones or take a look on devot-ee.com for any other add-ons that may help
