Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to create a “report missing link” style button which sends an email off to an admin? I’m also worried that it might be picked up by spam bots thinking it’s a contact form too.

The Freeform plugin will enable you to get notifications whenever someone fills in a form.
There are a couple of anti-spam addons for that, but this honeypot captcha addition looks very promising.
Could that work?
