    Hi,

    When I attempt this installation, I get:

    A PHP Error was encountered

    Severity: Warning

    Message: chmod(): Operation not permitted

    Filename: agile_records/default_content.php

    Line Number: 103

    I have double/triple checked permissions for the files as stated in the installation instructions.  I have made sure that the upload folder has permissions of 777, along with the cache folders.

    Installing without agile records goes fine - no issues.

    Any idea what could be happening here ?

    EE: 2.1.3, running on Ubuntu 10.04

    Thanks.

    Forgot to mention, that I did copy the files over as a zip to the server, and uncompressed there.

    For fun, I changed all the permissions on every file in the www root to 777 (yes, I know this is bad!)

    Installation failed at the same point:

    Message: chmod(): Operation not permitted

    Filename: agile_records/default_content.php

    Found the problem.  The files weren’t owned by www-data, which is what Apache was set to for user/group.

    Still a bit odd that with everything set to 777, that the script would fail.

    Glad you were able to figure out what the problem was. Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
