Pagination seems to be working…but the output of the
{paginate}
<div class="paginate">Page {current_page} of {total_pages} pages {pagination_links}</div>
{/paginate}This was not like this before the upgrade to ee 2.1.3
ps. in addition, our simple pagination module now throws an error

Can you confirm you performed a version update as opposed to a build update?
It looks like you may be missing some language files
What version or build did you update from?
