I am experiencing slow page loading on this forum. This started a week ago or so, and many times, the page loads without it’s styles and looks like hell.
I don’t believe it is my internet connection because i have an external download speed of 1mb/s (not 1 mbps)  and all the other sites i use works very fast like this one once did.
As a side note, i am looking at page execution time and i see that every page takes over one second and a half to execute.

Does anybody else has this issue with this forum ?

I’ve noticed it slow at times. Sometimes taking long enough to actually time out in my browser.

I just did a post and it took almost a minute to post it. Just hung there
spinning in the browser!

Most have something to do with the mainteance they did this weekend!

I just switched to Firefox 4 Beta 11 a few minutes ago. It’s HTML 5 based. The forums seem to respond better with it. I wonder if they were upgrading to HTML 5 compatibility. What are you using to browse InsiteFX?

I am running FireFox and IE 9RC

I have already started designing my grid and templates for html5.

The forum problem is intermittent sometimes it hangs other times it just jumps right in.

I’m not able to run IE 9RC unfortunately. I need to upgrade my system for that. I’m still using XP at the moment. I’m just not seeing any hang. But FF 3 was really choking everywhere tonight. FF 4 Beta 11. Is jumping. Maybe because it’s a fresh install. It did disable FireBug and Google Gears though. I wonder if that was part of the problem?

This is def. a problem with the server hosting this forum.
Also, several time i got a “Bad Request” error generated by apache i believe, so i guess the server needs an upgrade to allow more RPS.

Happens all the time, I gave up being bothered by it…

Experienced slow loading too and sometimes a page will display very badly like the css is missing.
