Firefox 4 is out had this problem on Mac as reported - http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/179492/

the more experience i have with FF4 and EE - i know two things.
Pretty sure the default line height of text is different, and that is what is causing this issue (different to IE, Chrome, Safari, FF3, etc)
Second thing - i am using FF4 less and less and working in chrome, but it just does not have all the bits i am so used to using.
Lets hope for the new EE2.1.4 and new filemanager soon - hopefully this will not be a long beta.

I’m using/testing 2.1.4beta and not fixed :(

Runs sweet on EE2.1.1 w/NSM Morphine Theme
#21 / Mar 23, 2011 9:22pm
as it does with Leevi’s (NSM) new override CSS - which is better than morphine, or will be when he rolls it our of beta.

nevsie I haven’t tried with Leevi’s NSM new override CSS - where you testing it with 2.1.3 or 2.1.4 beta?
Adam, the problem does continue with 2.1.4beta, but the dev team is aware there are issues and working on fixing them.
See the following bug report: https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/15417/

i have only tested leevi’s override CSS on 2.1.3, and even then the override.css file is still in beta.
I do not currently have a 2.1.4 beta installed so not tested it with that.
But just to make sure the above was clear my “as it does” in post #20 was in response to post #19 saying “morphine runs sweet” - i.e. it Leevi’s changes in morphine and or css get around the problem. Thanks, N

Thanks for the clarification. 😊
https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/15417/ is the bug report for the issue - does it cover everything you noted?
