    Hi,

    I have EE 2.1.3 20101220 with MSM 2.0 Build 20101215.

    Let’s say there is siteA and siteB. I want to use the var {site_url} on siteB like this : {site_url site="siteA"} to be able to show the URL of siteA in a siteB template. I also tried like this {path='template_group/template' site="siteA"}.

    None of those seems to work. Is there a way to achive that?

    i would advise setting up either a snippet available to all sites, or a global variable of your own to reference.
    I am pretty positive you cannot do anything like you reference in the above.

    Thanks, nevsie. Does that make sense, H.E.?

    Yes, it makes sense but I don’t want to hardcode any config because I will deploy the site on multiple DEV environnement.

    I guess i’m just gonna make a plugin to do the proper request.

    Thank you.

    i agree a plugin would be the better solution - and certainly a handy feature request that should be thought about for MSM {msm:site_url:site_name}
    But i don;t think things like this will ever get into the plans!

    It would make sense to add a Feature Request in that case. The dev team routinely monitors that forum for items to add to EE.

    humanequation, I’m going to go ahead and close this particular thread. Please do make a feature request. Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
