    Hi All,

    Quick question.

    I have a listing page outputting channel entries sorting alphabetically.

    Can you advise on the best way to handle ignoring ‘The’ in any titles. For example, ‘The Dog Inn’ would be listed on the page under ‘D’.

    Thanks

    Hi, Dominic. What I’d do is create a new channel field called real_title, and put the real title in there, and the one you want to use to sort by as the title.

    So you’d then use {real_title} instead of {title}

    Or you could edit every url_title to get rid of the word the_ in it.

    Does that help?
