Im trying to pull out the name of the category where channel entry is published but can not do that. Been trying to use exp:categories tag but it pulls out all the categories, not only the one that is marked with the entry published. And this is the “comment” page where i want to put notice for users that they are in channel X and reading entry that is under category X, like “you are here - cars|volvo” (cars is Channel and volvo is category).

Hi, Pete. Categories are stored in a loop inside of exp:channel:entries.

Have you tried using the Channel Category Heading Tag?

That should get the currently viewed category for you.
