Hi guys,

I’m trying to install build 2.1.3 on a new host for a client (completely fresh installation). I ran the Server Wizard beforehand to check if everything’s ok, and got a “good to go”. Now when I run the installer, after doing all pre-install file-permission changes and abiding the license, I get a blank screen. How do I turn on debugging for this, or is this a know problem with a known solution?

Update: ok I found how to turn on debugging for the installer, i now get this message:

Really guys, all I wanna know is how to debug this… Can anyone set me off in the right direction?

The download was already from today, redownloaded and retransferred but still no dice. The line the error is referring to contains:

$this->userdata['extra_header'] = $this->_install_form_extra_header($this->javascript->generate_json($this->theme_required_modules, TRUE));

Can you tell us a little more about the server? What operating system, version of PHP and MySQL?

PHP Version 5.2.0
System: Linux fth0804 2.6.18-6-amd64 #1 SMP Mon Oct 13 18:13:07 UTC 2008 x86_64
MySQL Client API version 4.1.22

Ok i fixed it. Apparently Zend Compatibility Mode was one, which I now disabled in my .htaccess file. Thanks for the help!
