little questions:
1) templates saved as files, make a “default_site” is possible change that name? and put the name of the site?
2) why not is possible save snippets as files, like templates?
3) why not is possible save global variables as files, like templates?

Hi, Bmovie. default_site is the first site name when you might be using MSM. It’s so that you don’t have to fiddle around when trying to find the right folders.
As far as #2 and #3 go, there are third party offerings that make this possible. If you’d like it to be native to EE, you might want to consider a Feature Request or add your voice to one that is already there.
