Did you remove them in one table or two? Did you do any sort of importing categories or entries earlier?

Hi Sue,
I see exp_categories, exp_category_fields, exp_category_field_data, exp_category_groups and exp_category_posts
Which one should they be removed from? The numbers don’t seem to match up very well.
Please advise.
Thanks.

Forrest,
Before advising you further here we need to determine what originally went wrong here. Did you do any type of import at some stage?

This was a fresh install with no imports. Thanks.

Forrest,
When I click Edit Groups for the Pricing weblog I can see the Pricing category available to choose. Now I can’t see it straight away. I need to scroll down that multi-select box. Can you confirm this?

Hi John,
Funny thing about this. I use Firefox on a Mac for development and the multi-select scroll bar does not show up for me. Willing to try alternatives I opened the CP in Safari and everything was showing fine there, which is when I was able to select the Pricing category group. With this message, I checked it in Firefox again, and even though it does not show, if I click on where the scrollbars should be it does scroll down to reveal the reluctant group.
Not sure why Firefox is not rendering this properly, but I am wondering if this was the problem all along.
Thanks to you and Sue for the diligent sleuthing. Let’s go ahead and close this out.

Huh. Usually it’s the other way around - but in the mean time, closing the thread. We can of course have you add a new thread based on this one if needed.
