Greetings ... I have a form where I am allowing users to enter information without
being a member (via the very cool logmein plugin) and storing it in a weblog.
I see that CAPTCHA can be used with canned Comment Forms, Registration Forms and the
Tell-a-Friend Email Forms.
Has anyone used CAPTCHA with just a basic SAEF like this?

It’s not officially supported, I am afraid. Have you seen this thread, though? Also, Solspace’s Freeform module can do that, too.
