Hi Guys,

This is my first post here- hope this is in the correct forum. I have four channels of content on one specific site that I would like to filter based upon a logged in users “group” membership or maybe “custom field”, etc.  From research there seems to be a few ways to do this… However, I’m wondering what’s considered the best practice for this. I have three sites running EE2, and I’m using multiple site manager, so I’m not sure if that changes the way group membership works (I had some slight confusion regarding member groups in MSM).

Hi Ben, and welcome to the forums!

If I’m understanding correctly, you could simply place your exp:channel:entries tag inside the appropriate global conditional. Would that work?

Thats what I planned on doing… I think I’ve figured out the questions I had about Membership groups.
