    Hello,

EE Newbie here overwhelmed with complex customization requirements. Won’t bore you with the details (just yet :zip:)

I guess what I want to do is use EE tags inside of membership templates. Haven’t tried it out but they say the latter are too limited.

Two solutions I found to this end.

    1. Brian Litzinger’s Blueprints: This add-on Blueprints “lets you take control of your Publish Layouts and take Member Groups out of the equation.” The demo video looks like it does a lot more than that

This is confusing: If I take member groups out, Do I still get to manage member functionality and restrictions on my templates?

    2. Solspace User: This is a bit expensive but seems like the right fit. And I would like to use blueprints if that will do the job.

Unless of course I am conflating two different things.

Could someone pls help with this confusion  ?
