Why was the ability to edit the email field removed in comment editing? I was once able to do this and occasionally did to selectively remove email spam. Is there a reason why I cannot have complete control over all commenting fields?

I don’t know why this functionality isn’t present, but you might want to make a Feature Request. I can also mention that this functionality hasn’t changed in EE 2.1.4.

So this isn’t a bug or a feature blunder? I’m trying to understand the rationale of removing this feature? One step forward, two steps back…
