    Hi all,

I have done about 20 EE sites, and it’s getting a little bit time consuming 😊 Is there some script or tutorial on how to copy a EE installation from a default one? Let’s say I crerate a good starting point on my own server, I buy a new license, but then instead of installing, I want to copy the default EE installation, including templates, statusses, fields, modules, etc…

    Any tips for that?

    Hi, webnology.ir

Sure, you can do it, but what I’d do is have a local install, do a fresh install. Then upload the db files from the local install, but not the exp_sites table.

I do something like this already - I have my own third_party upload directory. But it depends on how elaborate you want your startup to be.

    Does that help?

ok, so you upload a version you have configured locaaly? Then change the License key, and that would work fine?

Yes, that should work. Give it a try, will you? Of course you might have to change a few little things as well, but the bulk of the configuration would be done.
