Moderator’s note: Split off from here.

I have the same problem but I get the errors directly when I go to File manager. I am running php+suphp+xcache and suphp settings should be correct as it does render the admin pages just fine. I just get a lot of errors before the actual page is rendered. I have also moved the system folder outside webroot and configured those settings properly.

I’ve attached a link to a screenshot of the errors.

Are you on the latest version and build? Using any extensions?

Yes running 2.1.3 build 20101220. Installed it today with the default Agile theme, no extensions.

Hi, cheets. Do you have the right settings for your upload folder? It takes two settings, one for the server path and one for the http:// path. Most of the time if there is a problem, it’ll be in the server path. You might want to look at: Where Am I?.

    Does that help?

    Thanks!

I fixed the main upload folder path and no errors anymore. It was set to / and I entered /home/username/public_html/images/uploads/ and no more errors on the file manager page anymore.

I do have to say that this was a new installation and I didn’t change any setting for this error to happen. So you might want to check Server Path to Upload Directory setting so that it gets set correctly after installation. I wouldn’t had any idea that this error is related to a wrong default value if you hadn’t asked it. As I said I used the Agile theme, don’t know if the theme set the folder wrongly or just the installation.
