I have 3 EE 2.1.3 installs, 1 of which is completely fresh and an out of the box install, and the Save Revision button is missing in all 3 even though I have revisions enabled.

Anyone else seeing similar behavior? Is this a bug?

Hmm, I knew I was missing something! Couldn’t put my fingers on it 😊 So yes, I’m missing a Save Revision button as well.
Edit: I think it was still there with EE 2.1.1 and disappeared when I upgraded to 2.1.3

I’m missing that too, but perhaps it’s a UI move. I didn’t notice it and would be confused by both the save revision and submit when I just want every submission saved as a revision.

I upgraded to the 2.1.4 beta hoping the “save revision” button would be appear again, but it didn’t. I reviewed the bug report and didn’t see any updates.
I am using the Blueprints EE plugin (http://boldminded.com/add-ons/blueprints) which requires the “save revision” button to fully function. The site I am building is still being developed but I am getting close to launch. Are there any updates? Or if necessary, could I down grade to a previous build with a working “save revision” button?

Hi, I’ve have the same issue on an EE 2.1.3 site (upgraded from 2.1.1)... and worth noting you can’t roll back if you’ve installed Playa 4 (or likewise install Playa 4 until you’ve upgraded).
Any progress on a fix yet? Thanks in advance…

I’m having this issue too. I purchased the Blueprints add-on specifically for this feature only to find out it doesn’t work the way it’s intended to.

I create a “training manual” of sorts for my clients that reuse generic CP screenshots. It’s going to be weird for me to have 1 or 2 clients missing the “Save Revision” button. Please fix!
