First topic on these boards so hello all.

I have been building commercial ee-based sites for a few months now. Recently a client asked if it would be possible to build a page to host documents behind password protection. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or tutorials on how to proceed.

I don’t mind getting my hands dirty with PHP, but if the functionality exists in ee or it’s plugins then I’d rather use that. Thanks in advance.

but password-protecting a template is a native EE-feature.
