A client has decided to host their EE2 site, a company intranet, behind a SonicWall VPN.  It is also on a load balancing server with two nodes.

Everything is going fine, except that some Control Panel elements are not functioning properly.  For example, on the Publish page none the tabs work (Options, etc.), the file upload link doesn’t work, and the Wygwam text field is greyed-out, too name a couple of issues on the publish page.

I’m not sure what to troubleshoot as I’ve never encountered problems with the CP before.

    Thanks.

    What model of SonicWall?
Some of the routers have, along with VPN modules, a ‘web filtering’ feature as well as ability to strip down ActiveX,Java,Cookies. If the IOS has not changed look under “Security Services”.
All this applies…if you think that SonicWall is the point of problem.

    lebisol,

We tried logging on to CP without using proxy and that worked.  Thanks for the tip.  We’re going to try and fine tune later to see if we can still use the proxy.

Nice, I am sure you will figure out a way to whitelist/exclude (CFS if used) it and if not post back/pm.
    All the best.
