I set up an EE 1.6.9 site (my first one) for http://www.thelaneedinburgh.co.uk/ and I am still registered as the main administrator.

However I keep getting bounce back emails from my server like the one below (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) is my edited email) saying new members have registered, although there are no members forms on the sites.

Is there something I haven’t switched off ?

    opel,

In the linked blog post Lisa describes the areas in EE which need attention to protect your site against registration spam.

Let us know if that helps

Great thanks I’ll look at that.

The only thing is that there are no members registration forms on the public side of the site that I have created?

Do you have a link? There is probably a default form, unless you have turned off new member signups?

Hi, opel. Did you turn off new member registrations, change your trigger word or something else? I no longer see a registration form where I expect it.
