    Hello,

    So I’m an MSM n00b and the MSM documentation is very, very sparse. I’m just trying to figure out what I can and can’t do with MSM.

    What I want to do is share content across multiple sites. So if someone edits the “About Us” page on my master site, it will also be updated on the “About Us” page of my sub-site. Is this possible, and if so, how do I do it?

    Hi, Unifusion.

    If you look at:

    http://eebeginners.com/index.php/begin/info/about-us

    -and=

    http://eehowto.com/howto/info/about-us

    You’ll see they share the same text.

    This is because there is a single entry called about-us that lives in the EEHowTo site. In order for me to display it on the EEBeginners site, I created a template, and in that template referred back to the other site and the other channel group.

    The opening exp:channel:entries looks like this on the second site:

    {exp:channel:entries channel="site" site="default_site" limit="1"}

    So now if I want to change the content of the About Us page, all I have to do is modify the single entry.

    Does that help?

    Gotcha. I think I was already on the right track, but the problem was with the Wygwam module. I had my channel tags set up correctly but for some reason Wygwam can’t share field names across multiple sites, so I had to create a unique body field name in order for my content to be outputted.

    Thanks for the help Sue!
