Hi,
I would like to know how to do the following and if it is even possible.
Within the editing area I would like to limit the amount of pages that can be created per channel.
eg: homepage Channel would limit to a single page where as an about us section would include mutiple pages.

Welcome to the forums!
An addon would be required to do this within the publish area such that a limit was automatically applied. An alternative might be using the Pages module to create ‘static’ pages for things like the homepage. In addition, 3rd party addons like Structure might be considered.
